BRYAN GOLDTHORPE

Bryan has many years experience in the martial arts, primarily in Kempo but also in Karate, Kick Boxing, Bujutsu and Kobudo, as well as contemporary weaponry.
He also has extensive training in Security, both armed and unarmed, as well as in the NZ Police and NZ Army Territorials.
Bryan is Christian and all morals and ethical behaviour taught at Fudoshin are in keeping with this.

IZZY LEWIS
Izzy has many years experience in the martial arts with a backgound mainly in Karate, (Shotokan,Chidokan, Kyokoshinkai and Shotokai in which she earned her 1st Dan), but she also has experience in Aiki Jutsu, Kempo
and Kobudo.
She currently holds the grade of 3rd Degree Black Belt (Sandan) and has been issued a Licence to Instruct as Sensei for Fudoshin Martial Arts. Izzy also runs her own club Sanchin Ryu Bujutsu out of our Dojo and has seperate classes on Wednesday for
this.
Izzy is also responsible for training and grading the Cubs and Juniors, runs seperate women only classes, self defence and Karate classes.
She is also on our grading panel and assists in all other aspects of running the school.
She is a qualified counsellor (Bachelor of Social Practice - Counselling) and is currently studying for her Masters of Social Practice. She also has experience and trainning as a chef, support worker and teacher aide.
Izzy has developed our program that is aimed at encouraging positive and controlled behaviour for youth, this is called the 'The Monster Within'. She also offers individual counselling as required.
